When ripe, our double gold award-winning Camembert has a distinct earthy aroma and a smooth creamy paste that oozes camembert fabulousness. This scrumptious flavour is possible because of our traditional methods, meaning we don’t restrict the acidification to increase its shelf-life. Some love it just ripe: white, mild and creamy , others love it closer to its best before date, where the rind may become mottled, and its taste intensifies to a rich, deep, mushroomy flavour and smell.
