OUR AWARDS
We have been very proud to win both national or international awards for our cheese or cheesemakers every year since we opened in 2013. We love that our commitment to artisan cheesemaking and sustainable practices is also reflected in a high standard of cheese consistently over the years, as judged by other professionals.
From our first year of production, we have been recognised every year at the NZ Champion of Cheese Awards. Internationally, we have successfully competed against over 5000 entries from 30 countries at the International Cheese Awards in Nantwich – UK, winning awards in 2016, 2018, 2019.
Our cheesemakers too are award-winning: Zev having won Aspiring Cheesemaker in 2017 in NZ, and Novice Cheesemaker for his Kau Piro in 2018 at the International Cheese Awards in the UK. Clara won Aspiring Cheesemaker at the 2021 NZ Cheese Awards.
