Named after a picturesque coastal Northland beach, our Woolleys Bay Havarti is mild, creamy and ever so slightly salty like its namesake. Creamy, buttery and melt in your mouth, this is a popular choice for those who prefer a more delicate flavour to an assertive one. This Havarti is fixed and hooped by hand into big 4kg wheels, matured for 3-6 months and then cut into wedges for your enjoyment.
As with all our cheeses, handmade with aroha and care, on the day of milking, from certified organic cow's milk.
