Meaning ‘drunk’ in Te Reo Māori, Haurangi is a semi-hard cheese that has been soaked in wine. Matured and lovingly hand-brushed over 3 months, its natural rind releases the flavour of the wine that perfectly complements its nutty and creamy interior. A star on any cheese board, its rich, dark rind makes for an attractive and flavoursome treat.
As with all our cheeses, handmade with aroha and care, on the day of milking, from certified organic cow's milk.
