Meaning, ‘delicate’ in Te Reo Māori, Marore is a whey-washed cheese with a silky paste and a creamy flavour, reminiscent of the salty coastal air and the rich Tai Tokerau whenua (land). A milder version of its cousin, Kau Piro, it is a perfect introduction to washed rind cheese.
As with all our cheeses, handmade with aroha and care, on the day of milking, from certified organic cow's milk.

Serving inspiration: On a cheeseboard, pair it with dark breads, cured meats, and fruits (fresh and dried). On crackers with a slice of apple and drizzle with honey for a starter.
